  Availability and prices

· We prefer to let the beat by the week, and normally the owner reserves one rod for his own use, although tenants who would like to fish three rods, and thereby have exclusive access to the beat during their week, should make their requirements known.

· The price of the fishing includes advice and support from Alasdair Petrie. However, if full ghillie services are required a further 150 pounds per week should be added.

1. Spring salmon fishing
The recent trend towards improved runs of spring salmon has encouraged anglers to try out a spring week. There are still some weeks available between mid March and the end of May at 900 pounds per week for exclusive use of the beat for up to three rods.

2. Seatrout fishing
This is in great demand. If fishing does become available the price per week for 2 rods is 720 pounds and, on the occasions when three rods are let, 1000 pounds per week for exclusive use of the beat.

3. Summer salmon and grilse
The quality of summer grilse and salmon between the beginning of August, when there are still seatrout around, and mid September is dependent on rain and good water levels. If you are prepared to take the risk of low water there are some weeks available at 600 pounds for 2 rods.

4. Autumn salmon
Autumn salmon fishing at Finavon can be productive and there is usually a good show of salmon in all the pools and a real chance of catching a big one. At this time of year we expect 75% catch and release. During this period the weekly rent is 720 pounds for two rods or 1000 pounds for 3 rods.
